The Nationals? Less that 3 weeks to go! Have you entered?

LATE ENTRY DATE EXTENDED!!  There is an online entry facility for the the Nationals at the Royal St George.  Therefore late entry fees will be automatically applied by the system.  If you haven't yet entered, do it NOW!  Late entry fees apply after 7th August - that's next Friday!!  Not only will you be saving money, your on-time entry does wonders for helping out the organisers.

Since all late online entries will be charged the late entry fee, all other late entries will also be charged - it's only fair.

• The George's mini website for the Nationals can be accessed at http://www.rsgyc.ie/optimist_nationals/  All the information you need it there and the all-important events schedule is to be added soon - so, keep checking.

There is a possibility that this may be the biggest Nationals for a number of years (if not ever).  There are already nearly 20 GBR entries; three USA entries and three from India.  Should be a good one.  Tou can cehck out the entries so far at: http://www.rsgyc.ie/optimist_nationals/racing/entrants/

The venue is particularly suitable for first time regatta fleet sailors as they will most likely be sailing in the inner harbour where Mum and Dad can watch from the pier.
