Congratulations Sophie Browne World Silver Medalist

Update & Conclusion: In New Zealand Sophie finished with an outstanding result and a silver Medal !

From all the Oppie Sailors and Committee we would like to congratulate you Sophie on your outstanding achievement !

Sophie was 2nd girl and 13th overall only beaten in the Girls Championship stakes by Kimberly Lin who is now the World Champion. There must have been no racing yesterday as the results remained unchanged from the previous day.

Hopefully we will receive a full report of the event from either the proud father or coach when the excitment wears off.

Sophie can be rightly proud of her achievements it is both a proud day for the Browne family and Optimist sailing in Ireland.
