Following the four regional events the Junior and Senior Fleet ranking have now been published in the ranking section of the website.

The process of complining the ranking is a complicated one which involves merging results.

Please check them in particular if your sailor has changed sail number during the course of the season. Although computer generated the computer is operated by a human who can make mistakes.

Qualification for the 2011 IODAI team trials will be based on the Senior and Junior National Rankings which will be published as soon as possible after completion of the regional and national championships.

In the senior fleet, the first 40 sailors after excluding sailors who must compulsorily retire because of their age will qualify. In the junior fleet, the first 35 sailors will qualify. In both cases, no account will be taken of voluntary retirements in calculating the top ranked sailors.

This change has been made to ensure that sailors know if they have qualified as soon as the events have finished so that they can commit to a training programme for the following year.
